Four-star luxury property

In 2006, the renovation of the existing 382 guest rooms at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue brought a new level of urban luxury and convenience to this rapidly expanding hospitality market. Located across Lake Washington from Seattle, Bellevue is a key destination for visiting technology professionals and consultants. The renovation was integral in outlining the design direction for the addition of the Olympic Tower which was completed in October 2009.

Design deliverables

"Everything in harmony" was the key thematic driver behind the guest room renovations. Bringing a new level of luxury and convenience was a necessity. Given the Pacific Northwest’s strong connection to Asian cultures, a design theme emerged. Soft fabrics in rich tones complemented Japanese inspired wall coverings. Asian chests were the inspiration for the new case goods. Throughout the rooms, the application dark-stain-to-wood created a strong visual framework.
