Westin Bellevue Bellevue, Washington Developer: Kemper Development Company Architect: Sclater Partners Architects New luxury hotel, design for guest rooms and public spaces Susan Marinello Interiors was proud to create 337 impressively appointed guest rooms for the new Westin Bellevue. In addition to the guest rooms, the firm was charged with designing and providing specifications for all public spaces including the lobby, ballroom, meeting rooms, pre-function areas, pool area, and the Cypress Lounge. Design deliverables This extensive interior project had three main goals: to incorporate Westin brand standards into the overall hotel aesthetic, to extend the property’s connection to the greater community, and to provide a peaceful setting for visiting executives. Given the wealth of mountain and water view seen from the property, naturally subtle tones of green, yellow, and soft-white predominate throughout. The result is both classic and contemporary.
