Private Family Residence Bellevue, Washington Desire This family home is located in downtown Bellevue on a three-acre property. With its ample acreage and frontage along Kelsey Creek, it was the perfect home for this young family. Challenge To create an interior that met the functional needs of young children yet felt sophisticated and elegant. Outcome Relaxed yet tailored became the mantra of this project. A monochromatic color palette was chosen; seasonal changes in pillows and accessories provided the punch. Wall-to-wall seagrass was installed to tone-down the formality of the furnishings. In front of the fireplace, two James Jennings chairs covered in Larsen Mohair provide warmth and welcome. Overall, fabrics were selected for high performance and finishes were slightly distressed for an informal feel.
